SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY (SCC)

WHAT IS A SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY?

In order to understand SCC, we need to reference back to the main church. Everyone in the boundary of the parish will congregate in the main church building.

When we return to our kampong or housing estate, we don't have a church but we can have a samll group. And small groups are formed everywhere. If we form a christian community, it is a small christian community.

What is a christian community? It is actually you and I, coming together for a reason and focus. That is to live the life of (1) Love our God and (2) Love our neighbour as ourself.

How to love our God?
We can love our God by studying and sharing his Word, sharing what he has done for us in our lives, growing in faith together.

How to love our neighbour as ourself?
We can love our neighbour as ourself by taking care of their properties, families and sharing like our own family.

In my understanding of a SCC is that it is group of parishioners keeping in touch on our faith and helping anyone who lives in the same neighbourhood. The kampong spirit.

European supplier of Toyota auto parts, victim to a (BEC) scam, resulting in $37 million loss.

In 2019, Toyota Boshoku Corporation, a major European supplier of Toyota auto parts, fell victim to a Business Email Compromise (BEC) scam, resulting in a loss of approximately $37 million (¥4 billion). Cybercriminals impersonated a business partner of the Toyota subsidiary via email. They successfully manipulated an employee in the finance department to change bank account details and transfer funds to an account controlled by the scammers. The fraudulent transfer occurred on August 14, 2019. Toyota Boshoku became aware of the fraudulent activity shortly after it happened and promptly launched an investigation involving legal professionals. They also reported the incident to the local investigating authorities and have been cooperating fully in the ongoing efforts to recover the stolen funds.
